As a field inspector for KRA Field Services in Bethel, Connecticut,
Matthew Czaplicki assists homeowners with property assessments for
mortgages, foreclosures, and insurance claims. He has extensive
experience in the building restoration and remodeling industry and last
worked as an energy consultant for Northeast Specialty Corporation.
There, he conducted sales for energy efficient upgrades at homes
throughout Connecticut and Western Massachusetts. Prior to that, Matthew
Czaplicki held responsibilities ranging from supervising work crews to
negotiating contracts for the commercial and residential property repair
company Ultra Clean Disaster Restoration. He has also worked as a
project manager for New England Reconstruction Services and NCT
Inventory Professionals.
Matthew Czaplicki received a BA in
English and history from Rutgers University and an MS in education from
the University of Bridgeport. At Rutgers, he earned an athletic
scholarship for swimming and achieved distinction as an All-American
selection. Mr. Czaplicki went on to serve as a K-12 teacher and head
coach of the Darien High School boys swimming team for several years
with Darien Public Schools.
Active in community service, Matthew
Czaplicki has volunteered with Habitat for Humanity and For Goodness
Sake, a nonprofit organization based in Bristol, Connecticut, that
provides those in need with furniture and other basic household items.
He enjoys spending his free time swimming, rock climbing, writing poetry
and fiction, and dining out at farm-to-table restaurants.
